LOCATION

THE DROP

Shot on location in Elephant and Castle

For this video story we discovered a disused warehouse in Elephant and Castle, part of the old, now derelict Manor Place Baths. The location was auspicious in that BVB's Henry Cooper fought there on the 23rd November 1954, in his 3rd outing as a professional, adding flesh to the bones of good old back story. The warehouse itself is a magnificent example of late-19th century Victorian architecture and a grade 11-listed building. Visually we were inspired by British classic films of the 1960's, for mood and atmosphere with the score reflecting a combination of title tracks from that era. A brilliant crew and cast brought it all together.
